The proud wish God would agree with them. They aren’t interested in changing their opinions to agree with God’s.

I’m examining the difference between Obama’s government and the kind of government we have in the church.  We both subscribe to a leader, Obama on the one hand, the Prophet on the other.   What is the real difference?   Obama spends our money freely, and taxes more if needed.  The church spends its money too – on temples, churches, schools, humanitarian aid.  Where does the church get its money?  Voluntary donations.  Is there any pressure to donate?  We have basically entered into a covenant where all that we have belongs to the church:  our talents, our time, our property, for the benefit of helping our fellow man.  Obama wants us to do the same thing, give all we have to help those who don’t have as much.

We have two very distinct systems of government here, you could call each one a socialist system, but there is one huge difference.  Christ could come to earth and assume His rightful place as King of Kings, Lord of Lords, which would place Him in a world government leadership position.  We would hand him back the keys to the kingdom and He would rule and reign.  Period.   Anyone willing to subscribe to His system would be included in it.  All others would be ushered off to the “waiting place”.

The Waiting Place

Unfortunately the waiting place is not here on earth, but somewhere in heaven, which means at the time of Christ’s coming some will remain, others will be ushered out.   I don’t see this act of God as a vengeful hateful God fulfilling His prophetic words by destruction of the wicked.  I see it as an act of love for His people.  Who are His people?  Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Protestants, and anyone who is found holding true to their belief in God and to true principles at the moment of His coming.  They are people who have overcome the influence of satan in their homes by preparing a sanctuary there for the family.

How will His government look, and in what way will it be different from Obama’s.  (btw I just use the name Obama as symbolic of the world government that is surely coming our way, if it isn’t here already)  We will enjoy freedom, because that is God’s gift to man.  We will be free to choose, but we will choose good, because that is who we are.  Christ is waiting for people to become like Him.   He is waiting for us to overcome wicked and evil, corruption and tyranny.  We still have a lot to do.  Are we ready for the battle which is bearing down upon us now?

To my Christian friends who fear God for all the wrong reasons,  God is not who you think He is.  The waiting place is a place of hope and correction, of missionary work and improvement.  It is a place of choice and freedom to make choice.  But, we are all bound by law and space, we cannot enter into space we are not prepared to enter.  Light burns.  God is a loving god, and there is a place for everyone, suited to themselves.
There is a law

This I file under Chassis

CHASSIS: God is the power that carries us, gives us breath, and agency to create our own wagon and chart our own course. The chassis is the framework that holds the box flat and balances the weight.

Satan: God, Christ, Holy Ghost:
Goal: Goal:
To force mankind to live eternally in his kingdom, on earth and beyond the grave.   Moses 1:39   This is my work and my glory:  to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

Procedure: Procedure:
Develop secret societies, financed secretly by the government, prepared to take over and redistribute wealth, according to guidelines and restrictions placed by the government, when called upon to mobilize. The people will be informed and prepared to volunteer their lives to protect their families, their freedoms, and their right to worship God according to the dictates of their own conscience.
Follow the Progressive movement, which is full of secret combinations with the intent to

  • destroy the freedom of mankind
  • degenerate the family
  • erase God
The Constitution of the United States is an inspired document for our day.  The Book of Mormon is also.  Both have outlined and explained procedures, and warn of dangers.  The Book of Mormon includes cause and effect outcomes of good and poor choices.

Guidelines: Guidelines:
The family must be  broken The family and God will remain central to life
Gay/Lesbien/transgender alternatives to be taught in schools as acceptable standards, in the name of tolerance. True standards of fidelity, modesty, virtue will be the guidelines followed by a righteous people
Environmentalists will use propaganda to convince people the earth is more sacred than God. God stated the earth was created for man.  We will use wisdom in our care of it, and recognize our valuable resources.

Outcomes: Outcomes:
A government with one man at the helm, and all populations subservient to him.  A government structure which values freedom, knows right from wrong, and can govern with God as a partner.
Religions will collapse, as faith in God is destroyed The Church of Jesus Christ will attract members from all faiths, and unitedly they will overcome evil by their righteous living.
Populations will self-destruct Light will increase in the earth
Calamities will increase in the earth: volcanoes, earth quakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, stars will fall from heaven. Christ will come.  Ten lost tribes will return.  New Jerusalem will be built on the American continent.  Temple in Old Jerusalem will be built again.  The earth will be renewed.

How many times have we as parents heard the whining cry, “are we there yet?”  I have said it to my own parents many times.   Along with the words comes a longing to be there soon.  When I reflect upon how I felt back then, it is comparable to how I feel now.  I’ll admit I listen to too much Glenn Beck.  I download his radio show every day, plus watch him on FOX news, and I’m beginning to wonder if we’re almost there.

Symbolically, predictably, I would say and understand it as it relates to myself.  Am I ready yet?  Are my projects done?  Is my family history organized?  Is every room in my own house neat and orderly?

A few years ago on the very day I completed all my projects, when all 8 were still under our roof,  I went to bed in total peace, and woke up to the sound of gun shots outside my window.  I jumped out of bed and looked out of my door to see fire in the garage.  The only reason I could see it was because I had propped the garage door open before I went to bed, and left the light on to lure all the flies into my trap there.   Flies go toward the light, and I used to set out bait to get rid of them that way.  The flies were the only thing left that I needed to clean out of my house.  I had a housekeeper helping me with my projects, and she knew we had just finished everything.  Walls, cupboards, drawers, all neat and organized.  I was prepared, and then the fire.

Since 1994, there hasn’t been one moment when I could say my projects are all done.  I have intentionally left something undone (a total mess).   So, if God is waiting for me, I’m not helping things along at all.  How about I pretend that it’s me He’s waiting for?  And, see what happens the day after……….
